These chocolate mousse pots are a simple yet decadent dessert with a hidden boost of protein.
Makes 4 servings
Ingredients
100g dark chocolate (70%), chopped
200ml Two Chicks egg whites
1 tbsp honey or maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
Pinch of salt
Chocolate shavings, to serve
1.Melt the chocolate gently in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Set aside to cool slightly.
2. In a clean, dry bowl, whisk the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.
Fold the melted chocolate, honey, and vanilla gently into the egg whites until smooth and airy.
3. Spoon into serving glasses and chill for at least 2 hours.
4. Serve topped with chocolate shavings.
